Pipe Tapering Machine
The Tapering machine we designed could be customized manufactured for one ends, 2 ends ,pipe, elbow and tee, is suitable for pipe fitting manufacturing and pipeline installation units in power stations, petroleum, chemical, shipbuilding and other industries. It is a key equipment for pipe end tapering before welding in pipe fitting production and pipeline construction.

The machine can be equipped with different clamps. After adjusting the angle tool post position according to different pipe diameters, cutting is performed via differential drive. The clamping device adopts a platform structure and flexible clamping to expand the processing range and reduce pipe deformation. Pipe alignment is achieved by manual left-right movement of the power head and electric up-down lifting of the clamp platform. Electrical control adopts centralized operation of all machine actions on the operation box, ensuring convenience and reliability.
The machine consists of five main components: power head, cutter head structure, machine bed structure, clamp platform structure and electrical control system.
Power Head
The power head outputs 6 spindle speeds and 3 differential tool post feed speeds via gear shifting by a motor. It is also equipped with an electric rapid feed/retract structure for the tool post at the tail, which can be used independently or together with differential feed.
Cutter Head Structure
An angle tool post can be installed on the cutter head. The tool post position must be adjusted according to the pipe diameter before cutting. The angle tool post is driven by differential speed for cutting.
Machine Bed Structure
The machine bed is equipped with an electric longitudinal feed structure, manual transverse adjustment structure, and bed-saddle assembly. The electric longitudinal feed has two speeds (rapid feed and working feed), which can operate independently, or together in the same or opposite directions.
Clamp Platform Structure
The clamp base is equipped with a platform and an electric lifting structure. The platform is provided with longitudinal and transverse T-slots for installing pipe supports and flexible clamping structures.
Electrical Control System
Electrical components are installed in a standard electrical cabinet, and operating elements are mounted on a suspended operation box. All machine actions can be controlled via the operation box.
